The ultimate goal of MatixBuilt is to give you the tools and parts you need to build, modify, and repair your board, your way. My philosophy is simple: you should have the freedom, tools, and access to keep your board performing at its peak for life.

What’s up dudes, dudettes, they/thems, and thizzles!
I’m Matt—aka Matix—the owner and creator of MatixBuilt.

MatixBuilt designs, builds, tests, and produces parts and drop-in kits for badass VESC boards. I’ve been building and fixing mechanical and electrical things—from vacuum cleaners to RC cars to 50,000 sq. ft. buildings—since I was a kid.

Over the past few years, I’ve been an active member of the Pub Wheel Discord community, helping others design and build custom boards. That experience inspired me to start creating innovative parts for those who couldn’t—or didn’t want to—make them on their own.

The ultimate goal of MatixBuilt is to give you the tools and parts you need to build, modify, and repair your board, your way. My philosophy is simple: you should have the freedom, tools, and access to keep your board performing at its peak for life.

I’m just a dude building and riding boards—someone who paid attention to what the community wanted and stepped in to fill the gaps others couldn’t.

I travel across the U.S. with my wife and kids. While MatixBuilt is based in our home state of Arizona, I produce, ship, and ride from wherever we park our 5th wheel trailer.

ATLOWSHOP Release and Waiver of Liability Form Custom Built Personal Electric Vehicles (PEVs)

  • Assumption of Risk
I am aware and understand that the operation of Personal Electric Vehicles (PEVs) is a potentially dangerous activity that involves the risk of injury, disability, death, or property damage. I acknowledge that these risks may result from or be compounded by the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Release, its employees, or aftermarket parts manufacturers. I understand that while the Release has implemented measures to reduce the risk of injury from the activity, the Release cannot guarantee that I will not be injured due to my operation of the PEV.  NOTWITHSTANDING THESE RISKS, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY PURCHASING THE PEV WITH THE INTENT OF PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITY WITH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE DANGERS INVOLVED.   

  • Agreement to Hold Harmless
I hereby expressly waive and release any and all claims now known or hereafter known against the Release, its employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Releases”), on account of injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage arising out of or attributed to my operation of this Personal Electric Vehicle (PEV).   

  • Release
Both parties represent that they understand their right to review all aspects of this Release with the attorneys of their choice, that they have had the opportunity to consult with attorneys of their choice, that they have carefully read and fully understand all provisions of this Release, and that they are freely, knowingly, and voluntarily entering into this Release.
