Shipping policy

Orders ship from within the continental United States.

Processing times

• In-stock items: usually ship within 1–3 business days.
• Pre-order items: estimated about 4 weeks. The estimate is shown on each product page.
• Rails made to order: 6–8 weeks from the start of the batch (about 5 weeks machining plus 1 week anodizing).
• If an order mixes in-stock and pre-order items, we ship it all together when everything is ready, unless you ask us to split it.

US shipping

• Rates are calculated at checkout from live USPS and UPS prices, based on weight and destination.
• Rails use weight-based rates because of their size.
• Small parts ship in a padded bubble mailer.
• You'll get a tracking number by email when your order ships.

International shipping

• We ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
• Customs duties, import taxes and brokerage fees are the buyer's responsibility and aren't included in the shipping price.
• Delivery times vary by country and customs.

Lost or damaged packages

• Every order is shipped with insurance covering its full value against loss, theft and damage. You don't need to add anything at checkout.
• If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days, or a package arrives damaged, email matt@matixbuilt.com with your order number (and photos for damage). We'll file the claim and send a replacement or refund once it's approved.
• Claims have to be reported within 7 days of delivery for damage, or within 30 days of the ship date for a lost package.
• Please double-check your address. Insurance doesn't cover packages sent to an incorrect address entered at checkout, and we can't be responsible for them.
